I had taken the RN review class on March 30-April 5, 2013. At first I was hesitant to take it since it was very close to my scheduled test date on April 11, 2013. Thankfully, I went through with it because it reinforced the things I had already reviewed. Nothing beats hearing the lecture material over and over again, and if my test date was further down the road I would have purchased the audio cd’s. I should have also taken the pharmacology class; since they did ask about meds and there were 3 that I had never heard before, and they don’t’ give you any disease/disorder that you could associate the medication with and the name wasn’t one that could help you classify it. I finished 265 questions and thankfully I passed but I was not prepared to sit for all those questions. I guess taking the exam for the first time I didn’t know what to expect; along with elevated anxiety from hearing that they recently
Anyways, with all that said I had a wonderful experience and met a group of wonderful people. The instructors were very educated and knew their area very well. It was a pleasure to meet them and they kept the lectures fun and upbeat, despite the long grueling hours. I am very glad to be a part of the positive statistic that your review center holds for having helped nurses to pass the exam.
